Children will learn about the mother country of Spanish Language, Spain. Experience Flagstaff’s Basque culture by visiting a sheep farm and hiking to an abandoned sheep corral on the Peaks. Delve into Spain’s fascinating gypsy culture and learn the dance of Flamenco. We will examine and question the traditional sport of bullfighting replicating la corrida by playing flag football. Kids will create art in the style of the famous Spanish artist, Gaudí. Finally, we will be cooking and eating, ending the week with a Tapas (appetizer) Party!
