Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
You are your child’s first and most important teacher. It is both your right and your responsibility to take an active role in your child’s education! Parents can become involved with their children’s learning in a number of ways. Here are some possibilities:
- Participate in our PTO!
- Participate in school activities and events
- Participate in PTO sponsored events and activities
- Volunteer in your child’s classroom
- Communicate with your child’s teacher
Mountain School has a very active parent group. We like to encourage all of our parents and the community to play an active role in molding and creating a better place of education for our children.
PTO Meetings are held on the Second Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
The Mountain School PTO Liaison is Audra Morales.
Our PTO’s Mission Statement
As members of PTO, we are committed to bringing together the talents of our teachers and parents. Our goal is to enhance our children’s education by supporting a rich learning environment. We will achieve this by providing our teachers with help, committee involvement and helping to facilitate the flow of information between our families and staff.
PTO involvement is for parents who are willing to participate in assisting families with the Parent Volunteer Service Program and serve on appropriate committees. Everyone is welcome because we believe parent involvement is at the core of our success!
Please contact our school directly for more information on how you can become involved in our Parent Teacher Organization.
Thank you for your continued support!
