Kindergarten Curriculum
We are enrolling kindergarten students at Mountain School! At our tuition-free school, you can expect a supportive and caring environment where your child will be challenged academically. We have free half-day Kindergarten with extended-day program available for a fee. Our teachers operate in the best interest of their students with small class sizes and a low student-to-adult ratio. Since 1980, Mountain School has continuously provided students with a nurturing environment where they can develop meaningful life experiences.
Language Arts
Our kindergarten Language Arts curriculum incorporates a variety of resources that include Jolly Phonics as well as daily opportunities for children to experience spoken and written literature, music, and non-fiction text. This provides children with a strong foundation for future success.
Math
With the Bridges in Mathematics curriculum, students will develop a strong foundation of key mathematical concepts to support them as they continue their education. This curriculum is rigorous and encourages young students to think mathematically.
Science and Social Studies
Our talented and passionate instructors teach social studies and science in a way that provides young children with opportunities to learn more about the world around them. Our students work on meaningful projects where they can create valuable educational experiences.
