Before & After Care
Our program is a fun, safe, and convenient place for Kindergarteners-5th graders for extended care before and after school. We provide kids a chance to use their creativity with art projects and free play, get exercise and fresh air with outside play and gym games, and explore with hands-on activities and projects.

Hours of Operation
Monday – Thursday
- Before School – 7:15 am – 8:15 am
- After School – 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm
Friday
- Before School – 7:15 am – 8:15 am
- After School – 12:30 pm – 5:30 pm
*All kids who attend on Friday will need to bring lunch.
Please note: There will be a charge of $1 per minute for any child not picked up by 5:30 pm.
Snow Days
If FUSD has a two-hour delayed start, Before Care will be open from the usual start time of 9:15 am until 10:15 am. You will be charged by the hour. If FUSD closes all schools because of inclement weather, Before and After Care will also be closed.
Starting the 2023-2024 school year, Before care will open at 9:15 am on snow delay days.
Pricing
- $6.50 per hour per child.
- Billing will be in half hour increments, rounded up to the nearest half hour from the time your child(ren) are signed out.
- A non signup fee of $10 will be applied for each child(ren) that require aftercare, but were not signed up.
- If student signups are not canceled 3 hours prior to the start of aftercare, you will be charges $6.50 per child.
- If you are picking up your child after 5:30 pm, you will be billed $1 per minute.
